Look closely at the rollers spin them and see if they turn freely.
How do you fix a glass shower door.
First you re going to unscrew your latch from the shower door.
Give it a tap with a hammer or gently separate it.
Remove the doors and adjust the rollers.
Find the screws that connect the glass door to the frame at the hinges.
The final part of the cleaning process involves scrubbing the entire door.
Turn the screws counterclockwise so that they are loose but do not remove them.
Many hinges come with two sets of gaskets one for 3 8 or 10 mm and one for 1 2 or 12 mm.
Using the end of a flathead screwdriver gently insert the end under the top part of the hinge where it meets the frame.
Using the screwdriver remove either the guide rail that runs along the edge of the door or the plastic guide that sits in the middle of the lower track.
Check the gaskets to make sure that they are the correct thickness for your glass thickness.
Once this is done wipe your shower down with a magic eraser sponge.
Use denatured alcohol to clean the gaskets the glass and the part of the hinge plate that will touch the gasket.
You may need to use a toothbrush or a paint scraper to reach the more troublesome spots.
Remove the guide so you can take off the shower doors.
If it s only cracked or broken on the latch itself all you re going to have to do is take a piece from your local home improvement store to replace it.
Put the shower doors back in place and ensure that they are rolling correctly.
