To know now much distance i need between the top of the shower door and ceiling for the moisture to vent from the shower assembly.

We re installing a sliding bathtub door.

Question is will it be a problem only having a 6cm air gap above the door and side panel.
I wouldn t want less than six inches.

So get as much space as possible while getting a shower door that you can get.
The enclosure we ve ordered is 1 9m.
The distance between the tray and the ceiling is 1 96m.
The room is 2 03m from floorboard to ceiling plasterboard.
Having said that my shower has just over a foot between the top of the glass and the ceiling and that seems to allow plenty of convection.

If so how much if there s little or no gap will moisture cause damage inside the tub area if there s no place for the steam to escape while one showers for example.
